This first week was definitely one of excitement. I was already getting accustomed to life at VHS after having gone through two great weeks of Band Camp, learning music and drill choreography for the marching season. Band easily is one of my favorite parts of this school. My first day was made easier after going to my first class of the day, Concert Band I, in the now-familiar band room. I went through the day, trying to find classes quickly before being late on the first day. I met new teachers and learned about how each class would work, enjoying some and bracing for others. I had the highest expectations for sixth period, Visual Design I, and I was not let down (after hearing stories from my siblings in this course). The rest of the week went very smoothly, as I developed various relationships with all of the new teachers (mostly good ones, I hope.) This was a great week!
